Thyroid Cytopathology Partners is partnered with Veracyte, the South San Francisco-based leader in molecular cytology, to provide cytopathology review for samples submitted for the Afirma® Thyroid FNA Analysis. We have assembled a highly-trained, sub-specialized group of cytopathologists who exclusively review thyroid nodule FNAs, ensuring exposure to both common and rare thyroid lesions.

Robert Domingo, MD

Dr. Domingo received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine where he also completed residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and served as chief resident. Following residency, he went on to fellowship training in cytopathology, also at Baylor. Prior to joining TCP in October 2014, he completed another fellowship in surgical pathology at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Domingo is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as cytopathology.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the College of American Pathologists, American Society for Clinical Pathology, Houston Society of Clinical Pathologists and Texas Society of Pathologists.
